we spend so much of our lives trying to find purpose. when we know our purpose–when we open the Word, it is revealed to us–
look to Christ. (hebrews 12:2)
come to Christ. (matthew 11:29-30)
magnify Christ. (1 corinthians 6:20)
abide with Christ. (1 john 2:28)
then one day we will
be with Christ, for eternity! (john 5:24, john 3:16, revelation 22:4-5)
but we glorify ourselves. we tell our stories in such a way that they make much of us.
look at me.
accept me.
approve of me.
glorify me.
what if our message–in the grocery store or the living room, in the workplace and with our friends and our children and spouses was only the simple, joyful message–
look to Christ!
come to Christ!
magnify Christ!
abide with Christ!
then one day we will
be with Christ, for eternity!
oh let our lives overflow to the Glory of Christ!
