you stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. as your fathers did, so do you. which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? and they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered, you who received the law as delivered by angels and did not keep it.” [acts 7:51-53]
how will you walk today – resisting the Spirit, stubbornly stuck in your boredom, your apathy, your disobedience?

will you walk in step with the Spirit! joyfully obeying, battling to make your heart fully his temple, submitting your every step and thought to him.
let’s go to war – begging the LORD’s move in our ears and heart!
today, LORD
let our ears and heart hear your Spirit speak and do not let us quench the Spirit.
let us not resist the Righteous One who comes to lead us and transform us in his righteousness.
let us not betray him by running after other voices.
today, LORD
grow our hearts longing for your voice.
grow our hearts desire to hear and joyfully obey.
grow our hearts affection for you.
grow our passion to walk in step with our Spirit.
