for all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. for you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, [romans 8:14-16]
to be led – is to willfully submit.
will you willfully submit to the Holy Spirit today as a son / daughter of God?
will you allow the Holy Spirit to rule your life, your will, and your ways today for the Father’s glory and your good?
will you believe and submit to the voice of the Holy Spirit as he speaks today?
will you allow him to empower you so you can obey his voice?
will this be a day in full and continual submission to the Spirit of the Living God?
pray and submit yourself to the Spirit.
submit to his rule, his voice, and his power.
read over this passage and allow him to encourage, to love, to convict, to direct, – to speak.
may his presence fill you with his joy and his power all day.
