what does mean?
in a phrase – living hope.
there are so many things God has given us in Christ in regards to resurrection power. this morning, there will be a list of passages below to read that declare the power of the resurrection on those who have entrusted their lives to the resurrected Jesus. this morning, may God’s Spirit stir in us a living hope as we read and listen to his living voice.
living – in that the power of the resurrection is for now. it has impacted and changed our hearts and minds and thoughts and lives – now!
hope – in that the power of the resurrection is for the next day and for every day after into our death and beyond. it has impacted our past, but just as sure it impacts our future until our last breath and beyond!
LORD,
by your word, by your voice – stir in us your living hope! stir in us a hunger, a resolve, a comfort, and fire – all because you are alive!
