for no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [1 corinthians 3:11]

can we even expound on this verse? all it needs is a mic drop! praise be to God that he gave his only Son, Jesus Christ to be the basis of all we are, all we have, and all we do!

if we surrender to the grace of Jesus Christ and invite him to take over our being, no longer clinging to what we have in the here and now, but placing all our hope and trust in him as Lord over us, we have a steadfast anchor for our soul that will last for all eternity.

in Christ…

all things are created [col 1:16]

our faith will be made perfect [heb 12:2]

we will see the glory of God [john 11:40]

God abides in us [1 john 4:15]

we have the mind of Christ [phil 2:5]

we will have eternal life [john 10:28]

no one can snatch us out of the Father’s hand [john 10:30]

we have the Holy Spirit [john 14:26]

all our sin is forgiven [isaiah 53:5]

we have salvation! [acts 4:12]

we have community with believers [matt 18:20]

we have victory over our sin in the flesh [1 cor 15:57]

we have peace [col 3:15]

we were chosen before the foundation of the world [eph 1:4]

God is reconciling all things to himself [eph 1:10]

brothers and sisters, today, come into the throne room of God and praise the name of Jesus Christ, the Holy One of God. he is worthy of all our praise!

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. and he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. [eph 1:20-23]
