with his whole life, will, mind, body, soul…his whole being, he sought the Lord.
to seek something is to know what you are looking for and go after it… because it is familiar. how can we truly seek what we do not know?
he knew the Lord, really knew Him. he knew His voice. he knew His thoughts. he knew His ways. The psalmist desired to seek and to imitate what he already knew but just couldn’t do it on His own. he had the right view that he could only be holy because God is holy.
