may my heart be blameless in your statutes, that I may not be put to shame. psalm 119:80

the psalmist isn’t concerned with how he looks to those around him. he doesn’t care more what people think of him over the Lord.

he wouldn’t care if people thought that he is generous. he would be generous.

he wouldn’t care if people think he is kind. he would be kind.

he wouldn’t want to look like he loved the Lord through worship. he would just worship because he loved Him.

he wouldn’t follow the law and statutes to appear good. it would be a joy.

he has a pure heart of intensions that when he stands before the Lord in glory one day that the Lord would say that he truly was a faithful servant.

could you say the same?
