it is easy to thank the Lord when we see him blessing us, but he is working equally when we cannot see the fruit of it! when we struggle to see his faithfulness, we can be sure that he will not forget the promises in his word.
the Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. [2 peter 3:9]
Lord, teach us to trust in your promises, and in your timing! teach us, in the waiting, to go to You for our peace—teach us to “be still and know that You are God.”
