“before his coming, john had proclaimed a baptism of repentance to all the people of israel. and as john was finishing his course, he said, ‘what do you suppose that i am? i am not he. no, but behold, after me one is coming, the sandals of whose feet i am not worthy to untie.’ brothers, sons of the family of abraham, and those among you who fear God, to us has been sent the message of this salvation.” [acts 13:25-26]

“to us has been sent the message of salvation”

have you thanked the LORD for this reality lately?

have you sat and just expressed thanksgiving and praise to your King for sending the message of salvation to you?

have you worshiped your King for sending his Son Jesus as the message – for you?

let me encourage you right now, in this moment and this space.

take a breath …

read the word below …

and wait on the LORD by letting his word, his voice, move around in your head and heart.

then – thank him, praise him, worship him – for sending his message of salvation to you!

LORD,

speak through your word.

fill our heart with thanksgiving, praise, and worship of you!

in Jesus name, amen!

even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. so we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. he is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. he has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. [ephesians 1:4-8 / nlt]
