church planting is in our dna. we believe church planting is one of the most effective ways of affecting culture with the work of the gospel. we have had the privilege of sending out and supporting 2 church plants since our inception in 2005. for more info on those 2 churches, please see below:

peine ridge church

jason zellmer, one of the founding pastors of matthias lot church, was sent out in the fall of 2009 to prepare for the launch of peine ridge church. his vision was simple…. to become a family of families that loves recklessly, worship intentionally, lives simply, and fights for unity. on march the 14th of 2010 peine ridge had it’s first public launch service with over 400 in attendance. today the church continues to fulfill it’s mission of exalting Christ by equipping christians and engaging the community of north wentzville. each week the church gathers to read the word, sing the word, pray the word and preach the word… and throughout the week they seek to live the word. like matthias lot, peine ridge has a burden for serving the poor and marginalized. success isn’t counted by how many people attend each week, but by how many people in the community would care if the church ceased to exist.

august gate church launched in the soulard neighborhood of downtown st. louis in august of 2009. with a desire to reach the most unchurched generation our nation has ever seen, august gate seeks to love God, love people and restore the city by gathering around the gospel, growing in the gospel and going with the gospel. we gather weekly for corporate teaching, vision, worship and fellowship. we grow through gospel communities that meet midweek to dive deeper into the word and into community. we go to find ways to “gospel” the communities in which we live by loving them, serving them and telling them the great gospel of a God who saves sinners.
